North of the house, right in front of it, is a small boxwood garden, called Linhares, situated at a higher altitude regarding the street, with a Fonte da Carranca attached to the outer wall.
This garden with access by a small gate has flower beds of boxwood with four blocks separated by paths and filled with orange trees, cosmos, and poppies. Initially it had an orchard and vegetable gardens from Casa de Santar and Magalhães. Currently integrated in the project Santar Vila Jardim, this garden is connected to the garden of Casa Iberico Nogueira, by a large iron pergola and granite lined with vines of wisteria designed by Fernando Caruncho. In the centre of the boxwood rises a circular water element made of a granite millstone of the old mills of the Casa de Santar and Magalhães.
