A guided tour through the idyllic historic village of Santar through its gardens: Counts of Santar e Magalhães, Magnolia, Linhares, Ibérico Nogueira, Misericórdia and Hotel Valverde Santar Gardens. Be charmed by the beautiful House of the Counts of Santar e Magalhães, where you can visit the old kitchen, the Chapel and the Sacristy. At the end of the visit, one of our winemakers, will surprise you with a Wine Tasting of Memórias de Santar “Originating in its essence from the garden of the Counts of Santar and Magalhães House, made with Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro Preto grape variety. The wine presents itself with violet tones, which emphasise the intense red colour. The complexity of its aroma reveals intense fruity flavours in which the bergamot and blackberry intersect in the wood’s spice. In the tasting, you will encounter velvety tannins and a good acidity. Long and unforgettable finish.”.
