Enjoy an enthusiastic hike across the famous Serra da Estrela mountain-range through its terraces, lagoons, and secrets. A hiking experience accompanied by our guide Nuno Adriano, who has prepared three trails that lead you to the discovery of the highest mountain in Portugal: “The glacier lagoons”, “The terraces of Estrela” and “Lagoons of Estrela”. And after, recharge your batteries with a delicious lunch at Paço dos Cunhas de Santar. Then, enjoy a wonderful visit to the historical village of Santar through its gardens. Within the picturesque village of Santar you’ll find the Casa de Santar e Magalhães Gardens, Magnólia Garden, Linhares Garden, Ibérico Nogueira Vegetable Garden, Igreja da Misericórdia Garden, and the Casa das Fidalgas Garden. Also, visit the Interpretative Centre and the Casa de Santar e Magalhães, passing through the old kitchen, the Chapel dedicated to Saint Francis of Assis, the historic lounge, and the porch.
